Youth Group

What is Youth Group?

Our Youth Group is a fun and social group for young people with Asperger Syndrome aged 12-20 years old.

Youth Group is held a relaxed environment for young people to be social, find friendships, relate to others, informally develop social skills and essentially connect with others of their age.  Most sessions are held at The Gold Foundation Centre in Unley, with some excursions.

The program is based on the skills outlined in Social Skills Programs and run informally through process learning, by doing and by participating.  Young people in this group help design the program for the year.

Youth Group is held every third Friday evening 6.30 – 8.00pm.  The program is delivered by two skilled Facilitators.
